Both of my sons have Aquarius Moons
Any suggestions as how to parent them? One is 11 and the other is almost 8 years old.
The 11 year old:
Sun in Capricorn, Moon in Aquarius at the end of house 6
Ascendant in Leo, Sun in the Fifth House
My 7 year old:
Sun in Pisces, Moon in Aquarius in house 4
Ascendant in Libra, Sun in the Sixth House
Thanks so much in advance!

Re: Both of my sons have Aquarius Moons
Thu, February 5, 2009 - 2:34 PMFrom my understanding, an Aquarius moon is quite brilliant for a guy to have.
All my bro and sis had capricorn(like me) and cancer moon so I can't give you real life relations. In fact, my half sisters and brothers have cancer moons too (one of my brow has a sagittarius moon and has a hard time adjusting to life).
I can identify very quickly with an aquarius moon but I can't define them unfortunately.
The humanitarian thing comes when they are older but at a young age they are still very friendship orientated.
My best childhood friend had an aquarius moon and I remember he gave his mum a difficult time and would be wild in his eccentric ways.
But they are always naturally gifted with intelligence and creativity so it's probably best to steer those qualities in positive directions.
I'm not a parent or anything, but from my own experience as long as you are a supportive and caring parent, it's all gravy (my mum didn't have these qualities unfortunately). -

Re: Both of my sons have Aquarius Moons
Mon, February 16, 2009 - 9:05 AMThe older one could be rather more aloof and unapproachable to begin with, the younger one a little laid-back and Bohemian, if considering the Moon in relation to Sun and Asc. Probably both kids may prefer to stand back from events rather than being full-on participants, both may need a certain amount of space and may wish to be 'understood' but definitely not in an intrusive or controlling way. -

Thu, March 19, 2009 - 12:37 AMBoth do prefer to stand back and watch at first. I have always considered them cautious even when they're sledding down a hill at rapid speeds. They have figured it out first and neither live without watching first. Yes to the space thing. They both 'get each other' in that respect. Thanks for the response!

Re: Both of my sons have Aquarius Moons
Wed, February 25, 2009 - 9:17 PMThey will definitely need their space, mentally and creatively. I was grateful that growing up my own mother way rather detached and practical ( she has a capricorn moon) i needed a lot of me time, in my room drawing, writing and being creative. I would have clashed with her more if she was more in my face.
So yeah let them have their psychological space. -

Re: Both of my sons have Aquarius Moons
Thu, February 26, 2009 - 8:52 AMThat's another thing, though to be fair, I have an exact Moon/Uranus oppositon to boot.....
My mother said that once that 'the only way to get me to do anything she wanted me to do was to twell me to do the opposite... -

Re: Both of my sons have Aquarius Moons
Thu, February 26, 2009 - 5:07 PMOh my gosh I completely resonate with this, I only joked with my partner last night about getting me motivated to do something to tell me the opposite thing and then I will do what he originally asked.
Its so bizzare but it works on me! We are such contrary creatures arent we. Its cool to hear someone else experiences the same phenomenon.!! I had never heard anyone say this before.
